Yes but, if you think about it, getting an economy seat on the upper deck is absolutely brilliant. At 2-4-2, You have some of the most spacious and quiet economy seats on an airliner that are always only 1 seat away from the aisle. And in the case of this upper deck configuration, you get to disembark quickly!

One of my step daughters flew on a BA A380 (her 1st A380 flight) earlier this year on the upper deck, when i asked her about it (she flies quite a lot long haul) The only thing she kept going on about was how quiet it was

At 2-4-2, You have some of the most spacious and quiet economy seats I'm not sure about that. The upper deck seats have the same width as the main deck. Also note that the upper deck is narrower than the main deck.
