It would be interesting to know how much the final loss on those frame is/will be when they go out. I am 99.999999% sure nobody will ever know, I believe even the Boeing accounting magicians will not be completely sure.

Boeing has its own house rules, but there could certainly be many others.

Agree....but I do believe that even within Boeing there are pressures to hide the real expenses...... Just the obvious how much is to have a complete plane for 'years' on the tarmac.....to finance it all the time and after five or so years to start the HUGE REWORK.....! Probably for the cost of this a couple of 737s could be made
