It's pretty incredible still, I don't think wrapping it up like this would be for just a few months, could QR deliveries have been delayed for a few years??.......

I can imagine several reasons. There is money trouble at Qatar and they have to slow down deliveries. Some trouble with engine deliveries, MSN208 is outside also without engines. The seat or other cabin equipment suppliers are in real trouble.

Last year the Wall Street Journal quoted 10 frames on order plus 3 options. This was when they thought they'd order even more. Presumably this is only recent as QR6 was completed in a decent time frame - no hint of a delay there

If so, has anyone seen a view inside to see if any engines have been fitted? Do they arrive by Beluga, in which case one of the photo contributors might have some input. As always, we can only confirm whether engines arrive. If we can't see them it doesnt mean they aren't there. Perhaps Emirates are easing up. MSN200 doesnt seem to be in a rush to be delivered (i know its the 1st of the new spec). Be interesting to see what's happening with Etihad

Be interesting to see what's happening with Etihad The current Emirates frames, Qatar, Ethiad are all with EA engines. BA MSN215 the single exception. But after 9 further EK frames it will completely switch over to RR. And than EA will become the exception. Perhaps EA is drawing down production? Or was never building enough for over 25 frames a year?

I think the nine frames bit is frames yet to be convoyed to TLS, there are EK frames at XFW and TLS with engines on as well as the one without any !
