I don't think BAW need that frame anyways before the start of the route to YVR, on 1st May........(?)?..... These plans may have been changed. A380 operators are constantly testing new routes to optimise fleet utilisation, so BA may well announce new A380 destinations in the next few months.

It could come in handy if delivered before the Christmas / New Years rush adding extra capacity ?

Thanks kronus! So probably delivery in the next year then..... Though, cannot these increases be sustained by the existing aircraft?.... Time seem way to short to me for MSN215 to be delivered before 01st May......(->YVR)..

On the flip side, it's hard to believe that MSN194 will be sitting on the flight line for the next 5 months.

Hi im from Newcastle in England - home city of British Airways Sales Office/ Exec Club etc - hence the info , not sure when it starts but looks like BA is going to move their A380s around and not stick to the same dests same as they have done with the 787s. Im still surprised that BA havent exercised their 7 options on 380 yet as the yields and seat prices theyre achieving on current 380 routes are higher than expected. Not sure when Toronto starts but its definitely planned.
