So, I had my first up close and personal encounter with a Concorde a few days ago. This is G-BOAD on display at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space museum, NYC. g-boad by My Flickr, on Flickr And a couple of other flying things I was quite excited to see in person for the first time: Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird sr71 by My Flickr, on Flickr The first Space Shuttle Enterprise. Never made it to space but used in atmospheric flight tests. I was quite stumped by how big the space shuttle is when seen in person - it looked so much smaller in pictures. Perhaps it's to do with the body shape and the relatively smallish looking wings. enterprise by My Flickr, on Flickr Aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, now turned into a museum. (No idea as to what that scantily clad lady in the view was up to...) intrepid by My Flickr, on Flickr

Baroque, you want us to believe that it's the ship you were shooting ? Methinks that ship was an excuse or - even worse - some kind of makeshift alibi ...

Let him be - a visit to the Interpid on the Manhattan is a lot of fun. I'v been there twice and always a lot of changes - from visit to visit. It is really worth a see.

Hi marlibu , this forum doesn't allow attachments more than 1 MB and the number of pictures you can post is very limited. It is better to post them to another photo hosting site such as flickr or photobucket (there are lot more you can find out there to your liking), and then link them here. Would like to see the pictures you want to share.
