I had suggestions lately of changing the forum's name again, as it leads more towards A380 'and' A350 planes now....
What would anyone think?
What name could it be changed into?....

I think the A380 is our root. Therefore, I would not change the name.

I don't think it matters, but as it is mainly Airbus related it could be A3nn.boards or A3xx.boards.

If ever somebody comes up with a bright idea, we may discuss it.

We did change the name - I was opposed than and frankly was not the previous name better ? OK it was the London bus, but.... We are here interested in passenger planes with emphasis on Airbus, but it just brought life. If someone would start to look closely after BO production like we do on AB all of us would read it and comment. If a new name ... it should be more "encompassing"

Ok, I still have "dd" as the shortcut in my browser's Favorites - but there is NO reason to change the name again: it is so easy to tell someone where to look: a380 boards net no spelling no further explanations. It's a brand. Just perfect.

If this board is Airbus centred the name is fine, if it's supposed to be commercial aircraft centred it is not right. We have so few USA members because of the boards name it's not including / encouraging them to join or contribute. There are loads of aircraft enthusiasts / people spotting / photographing around Boeing airfields and further away who post on other sites but not ours. I lived on the out skirts of Atlanta for 9 months and they love planes as much as us, if not more, one of my work mates used to commute to work in a PA28 !
