I've been told that Airbus is considering keeping at least part of the ST fleet, which could be used in a separate cargo airline owned by Airbus to transport Ariane launcher parts within Europe and to French Guyana or satellites to Kourou etc.
The 5 STs could be flying until the late 2030s / early 2040s due to low utilisation rates.
It seems that the new ATI company could be eyeing part of the Antonov's oversize cargo market as these aircraft keep getting closer to retirement.

Good plan to keep them. However is their range sufficient for flying loaded to South America? Could there be any Beluga 1 use to feed the A220 line in Mobile?
