Noted on A380 tour Saturday 23rd Feb in Poste 30A IMG_0689 (Large) by Andrew Learmonth, on Flickr Before the tour I noted that the 2 engines for the left wing were on the ground wating to be attached.

Any update on the status of this frame? How many weeks before it joins the flight line?

MSN125 is now the slowest TG frame in FAL, second slowest is MSN122 with 14 weeks to roll out... MSN125 is clearly now having its Wings fixed, other frames that we are sure had their Wings fixed were for example MSN127 with 20 weeks to roll out and MSN115 with 24 weeks to roll out...... Actually when we look at it, MSN127 took double time than average EK frames, and MSN115 also took around double time than the average of the latest AF frames... Average of the TG frames so far is around 12 weeks, maybe we'll wait a little more to see MSN125 out,... Fabien

I think they have one hangar dedicated for wing repair. It's likely that another frame will get its wings fixed in that same hangar once MSN125 rolls out.

Maybe MSN140(EK) following its Assembly, that would be in its 12th weeks of TLS when MSN125(TG) would be in around its 24th week in TLS...?... Otherwise maybe MSN132(EK) following outfitting/roll out any time soon at XFW, would have the time to have ground tests until mid-June and then fly to TLS for the Wings, as MSN101(EK) MSN103(EK) AND MSN105(EK) did?... Wing repair takes 2 months or 8 weeks, with an average assembly time of 12 weeks for TG frames I expect MSN125 to roll out around its 20th week.
MSN125 is now in its 18th week.
