Apperently the landinggears collapsed upon landing in DXB. That is a write off

Looking at the plane is it unbelievably SUPER that all the people from the plane got safe out !!!!!
RIP the only person perished in such a horrible incident - the firefighter.

If I found myself in that situation the last thought on my mind would be making a video! Incidentally, when travelling overseas your most important item is your passport which is why I keep it on my person rather than my bag in the overhead baggage compartment!

Even without passport surviving such an event you would be fine ! The passport could be obtained later - OK some problems might appear but nothing to worry much about.
