So, the stupid WTO process is coming to an end, with both sides losing, then agreeing after negotiation not to use their respective rights to apply sanctions, negating the whole process ...

Boeing as the instigator wanted to use the whole saga as a means of telling its shareholders and the public that the other side wasn't playing fair when Airbus overtook them on market share at the time they launched the dispute. And sowing FUD, basically.

US to slap 10% tariff on Airbus aircraft from 18 October 03 October, 2019 SOURCE: FlightGlobal.com BY: Alfred Chua Singapore Additional annual tariffs from the US on Airbus commercial aircraft — among other European products — will kick in as early as 18 October.Very early action (!) but a boost for Mobile production?
...The company has a large presence in the USA, including an A320 and A220 assembly site in Mobile, Alabama. It says 40% of its aircraft-related procurement comes from US companies. The ruling, which applies to aircraft built in Europe, means that parts shipped over the Mobile to be assembled appears to be exempt from the additional tariffs.

Would the tariffs affect A350 aircraft Delta acquires from LATAM? Also, would the tariffs apply if a USA airline leased an Airbus from say an Arabic leasing company ?
