Shultz's sudden departure is a bit concerning. I hope it isn't due to a breakdown in a relationship within Airbus's upper echelon. Sales this year so far has been slowest in several years.
They really need to bring up another Leahy!

Well, it must start at the top ! Infighting will continue as long as Enders' successor hasn't been officially appointed. A new leader always wants to have some of his men around him.
Is Schultz' departure a first step towards the post-Enders era ? Is he paying for some recent commercial setbacks, or is he just a collateral fatality ?
I don't know Christian Scherer, and I hope he will do well. Is he the right man for the job, or is he just an executive with a low-key style, picked to keep a degree of consensus ? I don't know ...

Bregier is to head Palantir's French subsidiary (source in French). www.usinenouvelle.com/article/pourquoi-le-sulfureux-palantir-met-la-main-sur-l-ex-numero-deux-d-airbus.N747444So, Bregier is set to leave aerospace permanently. His choice will certainly be widely commented in France. He was obviously hired to help Palantir overcome its controversial reputation (the company is widely seen as playing a major role in data collection for the benefit of various US security agencies) and to gain contracts for services based on access to French security or military data bases. I am sure that the paycheck is generous, but I am personnally disappointed that Bregier accepted to be hired for his address book, not his competence. Success is not guaranteed.

I didn't know any of that. I do know that Airbus has partnered up with Palantir in the past for their Digital Analytics 'Skywise' platform. So its not a huge surprise to me that somebody from Airbus would have this position.
