I think if it was a typo there would be a mismatch in between the MSN number and the registration, but these two match.......

Well, you see the frame that has the MSN on it, but not the test reg, you write it down or try to remember it to write down later, you then get the wrong MSN, then later you look up what the test reg should be to go with your incorrect MSN

245 and 249 are quite easily misread !

The test registration is definately not applied before body join..... Thank you, if you are on a tour of TLS at ground level or on a bus, you look up at the MSN stencil. The bottom of a 5 or 9 will look very similar !

there is clearly a mismatch here, I was with the group that read off 249 on the 20th January and I can confirm it was only the MSN that was read off but it was read off each piece to be certain that is was all the same frame. I did not read it off myself but I trust the person that did. I was back in TLS on 24th Feb and there was a UAE frame in Body join that we could not identify. I suspect it is a "mispole" on the XFW log
