EEM must have had a tech issue on Sep 23, but something isn't clear. She landed as EK215 in LA, but departed on the 26th from Santa Monica near LA, arriving in Dubai late on the 27th (as I write this, she is still in the air). Flightradar had no ferry flight listed. Does anyone have more details?

Flightradar said she was from Santa Monica... Did you get a fight number? FR24 often has old (registration & flight-) numbers in their database. Like F-WWSB, the yet to fly Etihad A380, was presented as a China Southern DoubleDecker until yesterday. EDIT: Could have been a charter flight in the past

Flightradar said she was from Santa Monica... I looked back at this and at 270400 UTC on FlightRadar.com there were two tracks for A6-EEM the first was UAE7216 out of LAX showing registration as A6-EEM the second was the FAA (5 mins delay orange) UAE216D out of SMO showing no registration at all as they frquently do in orange. Bizarrely later on in the day (1215 UTC) over the Finland FR24 showed UAE216D as A6-EEM out of SMO but then 2 mins later reverted to UAE7216, A6-EEM with no departure or destination details. Some mix up in the data streams Planefinder.net tracked her out of LAX into DXB as UAE7216.
