An article on what Boeing has done on the 737MAX since roll out. The engines were started just before Christmas and the aircraft is going through what Boeing calls 'Gauntlet' tests. The 2nd aircraft is completed and the 3rd aircraft is being constructed. A 4th aircraft will complete the set of flight test aircraft for the -8 and will be cabin fitted. Certification of the LEAP 1B is expected after the first flight of the MAX which is still scheduled for early 2016 and certification of the aircraft is expected in the first half of 2017. aviationweek.com/commercial-aviation/boeing-gears-first-flight-737-max

When googling for the 737MAX first flight, I found that Google's algorithms get a little confused with all the generations and models that got the name '737' over the years... I suspect, the introduction refers to the 'Original Series', the first flight is that of the 'Classic Series'? Anyway, I think things like this prove that artificial intelligence is still far from being a threat to humanity...

Does anyone know how the LEAP fan size differs between the A320 version and this one please? This looks smaller than on the A320.
