The second MAX is already in Assembly, how many frames are set to enter the campaign?.. From XWB's AW link : "Four 737-8s will be involved in the initial MAX certification plan, before the 737-9 and 737-7 derivatives follow". The test frames will soon become customer aircraft. At least the first one has already been assigned to Southwest Airlines.

Four 737 MAX-8, isn't that a lot? Airbus had only two airframes per engine type.

At least the first three (LN 5602, 5668 and 5728) will go to Southwest Airlines.

Four 737 MAX-8, isn't that a lot? Airbus had only two airframes per engine type. Depends on how you count. I would say the Indigo planes currently flying around on various route proving flights and/or other tests should be counted towards the total number of test aircraft

Just to clarify please: I don't "like" it if they need to change an engine so close to FF. But I like the picture and fact that somebody reports it to us over here.
