Though it has many MAX 7 on order, Southwest seems to distance itself from that sub-type. A Bloomberg story, posted by Kevin in the 'Boeing orders 2018' thread, informs that the company now intends to take only a handful of them in 2019 (7 instead of fifteen), and has pushed other MAX 7 deliveries out until 2023 or 2024. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-02/southwest-moves-up-40-max-737-8-orders-delays-23-max-7-planesIs it a stretch to predict that Southwest will use the MAX 7 only to serve a few 'hot and high' airports, and will convert the rest of its order to the MAX 8 ?

I hear 737-MAX7 is taking a first flight test sometime in March. I am not quite sure. I'm sure they will be so successful flight.
