The headline seems so misleading. If you take the headline literally, what is the point? You are not going to get your A320neo before the 737 Max Grounding is lifted, neither is anybody else who does this stunt. We all know this is a short term issue (up to a year of delivery delays), not a long term one.

We all know this is a short term issue (up to a year of delivery delays), not a long term one. The loss of confidence into the MAX or Boeing, could be a long term issue.

I wouldn't bet too much on 'short term' issue indeed. See the how many flight tests already are done by Boeing (100+), and not even a cm of farther certification yet.

Also consider who the speaker is - Al Maktoum "boss" of both FlyDubai and Emirates ! And he is unhappy with Boeing communication - topic we did discussed elsewhere. That we are unhappy - who cares.... but that he is unhappy is for Boeing BIG problem. The question is what else will be found during the recertification and how long will it take. As always we will see.
