Rumor has it that delivery isn't due until February at the earliest. As CA is usually first to introduce new aircraft types to the Chinese market, if the rumour is true then we should not see any mainland Chinese A350 fly away before year-end. Have we heard anything new about type certification ?

Chinese New Year is coming, nobody in Beijing will issue any certification document now.
At least another two months before any Chinese frames to be delivered, so just took the engines off to be used for other more urgent frames.
I am always surprise that Airbus didn't do that for MSN 60, 98, 112.

MSN 60 is currently in the progress of being delivered to the lessor, hence the engines need to stay on.

Registration B-1086 has been assigned to this aircraft. CAAC certification is getting one step closer.
