8th of August 2018 (08-08-2018), and it's the 188th A350 frame been delivered. CA is going for the extreme "wealthy". 2PM in TLS is actually 8PM in China as well

8 never mean “lucky” in China, it means rich or wealthy in Cantonese, mainland China only adopted that since late 1980’s (same as 4). A lot of people think it’s lucky, but that’s just a misunderstanding. The difference is small, isn't it ?

A lot of people think it’s lucky, but that’s just a misunderstanding. The difference is small, isn't it ? I believe that "4" is unlucky in mainland China. There are no B-xxxx registrations ending in 4 I believe.

But I believe that the pronunciation of the number 4 in Mandarin roughly sounds like the word for "dead"...or so as I have been told by a Chinese friend of mine. A 747 would sound like "Seven dead seven".
