I think we should indicate in the title 5 A321neos, perhaps the title more reflects what they operate. How many A321neos does TAP operate? 5 Some of us had discussions about this issue. And most agree we should only count new deliveries into total. As in this thead: a380.boards.net/post/127107/thread But we can change here. If anyone needs to know "Current" fleet totals for an airline use Planespotters.net why should we waste time duplicating what already exists.

Why the difference for the A32x? How many A380 or A350 have moved between airlines? And it seems to me we have counted the A350 LATAM frames going to Qatar or Hainan. We have a thread for the A380 at Hifly. I have no special point in regards if we count in the title only newly delivered frames, but it is nice to see in the first post all the neos each airline uses.

No, we did not count the LATAM frames leased to Qatar in the QR-total. Yes, we did count the LATAM frames leased to Hainan in the HU-total. The Hi Fly A380 is totally different, it will never ever be returned to SQ

And besides, for the A350/A380 we only count deliveries. Why the difference for the A32x? Providing the delivery total is a plus, we can see the introduction of this feature into A320neo threads as an improvement. I would enjoy to have that number for widebodies as well, but we must be very careful before increasing our moderators' workload !

For the A320 family we have the WOW and Primera frames, what exactly is the big difference, between a frame bought by a leasing company to be reallocated 2 month after delivery or just before delivery?

For widebodies we already have a delivery total, it is the fleet total (including leases, second-hands etcetera) which is the problem !! And don't forget retired frames. The last SQ A380 was the 24th delivered but would not be the 24th in the fleet. Only the 20th since four "oldies" had already been retired when it arrived "in the fleet". EDIT Please move to appropriate thread

I know this is a production-oriented forum and probably should focus on factory deliveries but ex.Primera's are babies prematurely grounded who deserve a little attention to their new lives MSN 8318 CS-TJN former D-AVZW, OY-PAF © Hugo GuerraI read rumors that the ACTs have been removed but cabine will be be retrofitted later

I have got to the point where I think we should just scrap the totals in the thread titles ? Everyone has a different view on what It should represent, we did not have them in the past and I can live with out them. I go somewhere else if I want to know What an airlines fleet size is by type ! In years to come planes will leave the fleet, off lease or sold etc does someone have To keep updating the thread title counts ? I think it's a waste of people's time ?
