Disappointing that Flight Global doesn’t know the difference between MTOW and aircraft weight, calling the ULR a heavier version ! Well, I think you are being too harsh with Flightglobal. It's actually quite common to call a higher MTOW version a heavier version (nobody is thick enough to think a manufacturer would aim to increase aircraft empty weight). After all, the only purpose of a higher MTOW is to carry more fuel or more payload, making the aircraft more heavy.
