Hi Folks, i just realized that the QR frames also have the protective coating on the rudder/ VTP assembly. i find that quite odd, considering they are always painted in the airline CS before being installed. any insights...anyone..

Better have a good look at pictures on this board. Try msn 008, 011 and (a higher number) 115, just to mention a few.

I wish to underscore that if Enders is truly talking about programme break-even, then it means that all development costs and early production losses will have already been recovered. This is very early, I hope he tells us more in the forthcoming financial briefing.

He clearly referred to program break-even, thus A350s adding positive cash flow.

He clearly referred to program break-even, thus A350s adding positive cash flow. Why use Boeing cash flow talk to describe an event at Airbus that does not defer cost. We can at Airbus easily talk about making a loss or a profit. Positive cash flow is not the same as break even regarding profit and loss, as cash flow disregards cost like amortization for example. I assume that Tom Enders means the the point, were single frames produce more revenue than cost. Alternatively he could mean the point were revenue of the A350 program, sales of all up to that time produced frames exceeds the cost to produce all those frames.
