Norwegian seems to have unexpected problems stemming from the fact that JFK can't accomodate too many A380 aircraft at a time:
link I'm not sure the delays stem from A380-specific issues with terminals. JFK is famous for its traffic delays in general. Anyhow, I think these problems should have been expected ...

Terminal 1 has only 11 gates. Two are A380 capable. So T1 is pretty cramped because those two are already used by AF, LH and KE. Norwegian is likely to be just one too many. I guess "last in, last out".

Landed LGW from JFK less than an hour ago as I write this I checked it for the last time last night. At that time both Flightradar and Flight Aware listed a 787-9 again for DI7015/7016, which surprised me as services were initially announced until August 23. Now it showed the A380 was switched to DI7017/7018, which I missed. Airlineroute reports Air Austral will lease MIP a week longer until September 15.

.... At that time both Flightradar and Flight Aware listed a 787-9 again, which surprised me as services were initially announced until August 23. Satisfied? Satisfied with your information? Always!! It's those flight trackers I don't trust. And before anybody asks, here's two examples for today (JUST today!). Checking possible activity for A350 EC-MYX earlier today FR24 stated it will operate BA522 Heathrow - Madrid (nothing else!) while FlightAware claims that this BA522 is a service from Madrid to La Coruna, operated by an A320 deparing hours before the arrival from LHR. Example two: A.net features a nice photo today of Boeing 737 N277EA at Rhodes last week. Trying to find out where SmartWings flies their holiday-making passengers to FlightAware states "This aircraft (N277EA) is not available for live public tracking due to European government data rules." WHAT ? ? ? ? FR24 does better: they simply don't recognize Boeing 737-8CX msn 32359. . . . (Sorry if I went off-topic too much )
