Is this all pushing for financial year end? It is exciting to see three frames been quickly prepared for delivery at the beginning of the month, but just wonder why the start of this month is so different from Feb & March. I thought Airbus is only focusing on calendar year, not financial year end.

I would say delivering a lot of frames in the beginning of the fourth month or second quarter, shows that Airbus is not disturbed by petty dates or end of quarter showmanship.

There’s no financial year ends at the end of April if we use 4 quarters financial year.

I don't know all countries, but most of British companies (plus Hong Kong, Singapore, and most of commonwealth countries) follow this rule. I know this only apply to MSN296 and 294, not 289 and 291.

The early April date is the UKs tax year end date. Companies usually use an actual month end date for their year end, so 31st March or 31st December as examples. Edit - I use 30th June.

Except at company/group level, there is nothing such as an official fiscal year. In most (all ?) countries, a company decides the dates at which it closes its financial year. Most companies use the civil year, others use the end of a 'business season' .
