HPJC flew to Dresden on April 2 as AF374V. I am a bit confused about AF’s maintenance schedule, with short trips to Abu Dhabi (this one went there early March) and now a trip to Dresden.

HPJC returned to Abidjan early morning on March 10 when in-flight there was a lound bang. Passengers report there has been an engine issue. On my question to give more details, one replied it involved the left wing engines either 1 or 2. No details as this has been an uncontained failure or not. Playback on Flightradar shows HPJC was almost at FL350 and 30 minutes into flight.
Update: the issue was on engine 1, which had a compressor stall. As this picture shows some blades have been damaged, with those on top partly broken off. That indicates the stall was a result of pieces entering the engine:
