I think MSN052 has not left TLS, it was just in a side hangar having its Wings checked/inspected,...... I guess it would leave TLS soon then, and another AF would come to TLS, most likely MSN064. Fabien

Actually MSN049 had been in TLS for a little while already ( www.flickr.com/photos/aircrafts/8353615670/in/photostream ), then MSN052 reached TLS as MSN049 was still there, and then MSN049 left a few days after MSN052 had arrived, and now MSN052 has finished the work and sitting on the FL, and will probably leave TLS soon.... Fabien ;D

Ferry flight on October 1st 2010. What lens do you choose for that opportunity when you are going to XFW, knowing it will be runway 05 that means approaching directly from the south with backlight. On visitor's hill you'll take a telezoom - the longer, the better: 55-300mm are good, 50-500mm would be über-great But what if you go nearer to have an unique view? So much that even the normal 55m is too close to fetch the whole ship when rushing over your head? So I made this test with a beautiful zoom made for architectural pics in narrow streets/places, a fisheye-zoom 10-17mmThis was a test and the first two pictures were hefty underexposed (my fault) and had to be photoshopped a lot (I think they look ugly) MSN 052 2nd & ferry flight · 2010.10.01 this is the back sight of the dike, 17mm 10mm - watch the unimpressed cool pedestrian! this is unprocessed, just to show what happens if you don't care about changing light conditions (spot metering or manual mode would have been better) the steeple on the left side is still to be seen, the roof seems always to be new - another story turning around the view along rwy 05 still 10mm this last shot was made within a second (compare the last car) with longest zoom at 17mm the fish-eye effect has nearly gone. Next time (this was 2010) I'll have two bodies.

Those shots are so nice Linie 9!! Maybe I should start looking into one of those lenses, 'fish-eye'... Fabien
