If Airbus announces the end of production tomorrow then I would assume that they already know the decision Emirates has made with respect to the A350?

Or they still negotiate the signing of the EK A380 order until the very last moment and this is just super psycho mode to try to get things finally going?

There is a big change in management coming up for AB, so now is a good time for a shake up / clear out of old products ? You could see the end of the A380 and possibly also A319 !

Whats the issue of the A319? It is still needed for a very special niche, ultra high altitude airports. That's the whole point ! AB have increased the no. of sub types it builds a lot recently, A321NX, A321LR and possibly an A321ULR both with 2 choices of engines. time to rationalise the offerings ?
