Their pax numbers have fallen with all the strikes, also it could just be waiting to go for door fix ?

No such thing as "all wrapped up". Just normal covers to protect from rain/snow/sleet/dust. "All wrapped up" would be thick foil and duct tape, the covers shown in the picture can be removed in a matter of minutes.

AIMC did a flightest on the afternoon of April 13 from/to Frankfurt. 8 days since her return from Singapore. I wonder why re-entry into service takes so long. AIMB also being worked on. Compare this to Air France HPJC: back in service one day after returning from Dresden.

Compare this to Air France HPJC: back in service one day after returning from Dresden. They might have fitted some LH specific stuff back at home after the heavy maint in Singapore ?

At last AIMC is back in service: as LH440 to Houston on April 19.
