No idea where to to put this ... but here it goes Microsoft in an astonishing announcement said that Flight Simulator would return after dropping it more than a decade ago But that's not what I want to talk about, it's about the announce trailer, it has a NEO test frame, apparently inspired on D-AVXA/D-AVZO

Purely because there is the XBOX logo makes it seem like this isn't going to be a Professional Flight Simulator like they used to make. Remember "Flight"? haha! But lets wait to see what the full details will be. Also...lets make a thread for Flight Simulation and share some Flight Sim experiences on it

But lets wait to see what the full details will be. I didn't remember that it's a possibility that it's more entertainment than simulator, hope not. But then they shouldn't use the same name. Let's wait. Being for PC and XBox is a clue that probably they use the Unity game engine With the great satellite/aerial imagery we have nowadays, with the incredible algorithms that are seen for example in Google Earth / Maps recreating buildings and landscapes in 3D, and with the modern virtual reality headsets, powerful ray tracing graphic cards, etc, it's a whole new world for flight simulation, and a smart move for Microsoft if they really return actively to this arena .
