Probie Question: Why must the A220 (and A330, A350 etc.) be certified in Russia when all those (current) aircraft are registered in Bermuda??

So they can fly in Russia 😀 Latvian and Swiss registered already do.

I must have missed part of the story. Is this aircraft taken by Ilyushin finance or by GTLK, or are these companies financially related ?
