You are right. Even more 2015 slots may become available if Hong Kong Airlines cancel their order.

Surely Hong Kong cancellation is more a case of when not if. Seems China like to build Airbus but don't like using the whalejet.

I think a few more slots can be made available with the looming cancellations such as Kingfisher's order. Even though Kingfisher's orders are still officially part of Airbus' backlog, there are certainly no slots reserved any more (if there ever was any), as the cash-strapped company must have missed pre-delivery payments.

Here is more information on the same subject. - in French : fr.reuters.com/article/businessNews/idFRPAE93H02920130418- in English : www.reuters.com/article/2013/04/17/airbus-turkey-idUSL5N0D43W320130417A possible Turkish widebody order has been discussed for a while in the press, on the old forum, and on A.net. At a time, narrowbodies and widebodies were included in a comprehensive discussion. Then, TK ordered narrowbodies from Airbus (the order was probably firmed during Bregier's recent trip) and from Boeing. We are now left with the widebody competition. I hope a deal has already been struck with Airbus, though it is kept under wraps for announcement at the Paris Air Show.

As much as I would love to see a China Eastern A380, this video is made by an aviation enthusiast using Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 as the basis of animation.

I have very large doubts about this, but it will certainly be interesting if true. According to this article, Air Zimbabwe will lease an A380 within the coming months, from a French based airline (which only leaves Air France or maybe even MSN002 if they meant a French based company). I think the article is actually talking about the A330 (considering the availability of the A330 and the fact that they are replacing the 767 with it) however if the article is right, it will be the most surprising A380 customer. www.financialgazette.co.zw/?p=43481

AF could take delivery of MSN115 a bit sooner and lease it (or another one) to Air Zimbabwe.
