Has Airbus announced what the planned production ramp-up will be going forward, especially when they have produced the test aircrafts?

Airbus is planning to assemble 1 frame per month from the second half of the year. The rate will go up to 1.5 per month at the end of 2014, after MSN17 (MSN17 will be the first frame with no overweight). They should eventually reach 10 frames per month in 2018.
The second FAL should also be ready next year.

Why do the ones before MSN17 have overweight?

Why do the ones before MSN17 have overweight? It seems to be quite usual. The first B747-8F were overweight, the first B787-8 also. I do not know if the first A380s were overweight, but the newer ones are lighter. It seems to be difficult to reach design weight in the first few frames.

@dubaiairshow just started following me on Twitter.. Which made me think, could it be possible for the A350 to make it's airshow debut in Dubai (With Emirates being one of the largest customers..) Maybe Airbus could couple a visit to the Hot weather campaign (However, the airshow is in November so temperatures might not be high enough) I am still hoping for a PAS13 debut of course

Could convert them to firm orders then too?
