That is correct, but note that cockpit furnishing is not the same as cockpit installation. The forward fuselage section is already equipped with all the vital sytems when it arrives from the Spirit facility in Saint-Nazaire: In fact, the forward fuselage had its first power on 2 weeks after arriving in the FAL. The assembly team then continue to install the cockpit just as you can see in the picture in my above post. The only thing they do in station 20 is the furnishing: installing the chairs and closets. Those assets would only annoy the assembly team, taking up their space etc. Now the picture above shows at least 1 chair has been installed and this is probably done for the guy who must do the system checks.

Interesting comments from AAB. He seems to be pretty sure of things. Qatar Air says Airbus to abandon smallest type of A350I think if we were to expect any update from Airbus about the future of the -800, it would be happen after they've gathered sufficient test data from the -900 test flights. And I still don't believe Airbus would ever abandon the sub-300 seat replacement for the A330. It could however be delayed.

Those winglets are truly a work of art and deserve their own name! Loving the paintwork too, especially the seamless blue to white gradient, and I'm sure we'll see lots of interesting designs on them by the airline customers.

And it appears that the wing has a small chunk missing from the trailing edge just before where the wingtip starts to curve upwards? Found a close up showing this a bit more clearly. I don't think it's going to fly without that gap plugged.
