I still hope Turkish will test/lease them and like them so much to order their own ones later. Like they did with the Jet 777.

So, the airline intends to remain an operator of long haul flights and to keep operating A380s. It however has too many of them and could do with four instead of six.
I imagine that whether they sell, lease out or keep the unneeded frames would depend on market conditions, but MH is not free to decide : the A380s are operated under an islamic financial framework.

Ouch, this would mean the end of the A380 for MAS, LHR is their main A380-market............

Would they be better off leaving almost new aircraft on the ground ? Unless of course they can sell them or lease them out.

My goodnes - just during this year they made at least 4 contradicting announcements. Who knows how serious was their trying to get rid of the A380 they do have ? The only we know for sure is they do have them and operate them heavily - with good usage - few hours on the ground. Do we know how full they are ?
What is going to happen in 2018 ? Who knows ?
It is all nonsense - here the only thing which could be said is: WE WILL SEE

Still long time. Things may change if people forget about the two accidents and passengers number increases.

To dispose of their A380s, they need a buyer or a lessee, which must be challenging in an unfavourable market.
