OK thanks, their is some confusion here ! ZM400 MSN15 delivered 17/11/04 ZM402 MSN17 delivered 27/02/15. MSN16 ZM401 ! Was undergoing fitment of counter measures / refuelling equipment ? And that was the one that got stranded at BZZ when it came to visit, but was not being delivered ? Not delivered yet as it needs a paint job first! A400M A4M016 at RAF Brize Norton by Radleigh Bushell, on Flickr I liked the natural look, no need for paint, it's camouflaged already

I don't know which one flew June 16, but it is likely they meant "flying for the first time" after the grounding (since A400M crash) My post and FR24 screen shot was from pm 15th June ! But who knows which one it was, my guess would be MSN16 going back for more work Etc . And that the RAF then flew on of theirs on the 16th ? Sorry for any confusion.....MSN16 flew back to Getafe, Spain on the 15th. On the 16th RAF ZM402 flew for the first time since being grounded. RAF ZM400 was still in the USA on the 18th according to Planefinder.net data.

BTW the concorde MSN 9 on this photo has been repainted with AF livery and will return to aeroscopia museum the 16 july with( or with out)A400M MSN 1. Airbus should pay VAT (about 360 000€) for this donation. With the financial ministery they will find a solution to not have to pay. ZM401 is the first A400M equipped with self protection systems. These systems were installed at Getafe. That's why ZM402 was delivered before ZM401

MSN1 will go to Aeroscopia museum on 17 july 2015. There a funny story related on this article ( in french). Http://www.aerobuzz.fr/culture-aero/article/un-ticket-d-entree-a-360-000-eurTo sum, Someone in the administration found that Airbus should pay VAT (about 360 000€) for this donation. But neither Airbus and neither the financial ministery want that and now they need to find a legal solution to not have to pay.

But I should not post this here What the hell has that to do with the EU, the EURO and Europe, when the French tax authorities want to place VAT on this donation?
