from Airbus's twitter account "Today our CEO Fabrice Brégier is in Istanbul signing the purchase order for up to 117 #A320 Family aircraft with @turkishairlines" "This order from @TurkishAirlines is the largest ever placed by a Turkish carrier - we shall be providing live coverage from 11:30 GMT" Does anyone know how many ACJ350s are on order? Just one lone A350-900 according to Airbus's March O&D spreadsheet

Now I start wondering what Airbus have planned for Le Bourget 2013.....
JAL for the A350? (rumor already) AirFrance for some A320(neo)? AirFrance/KLM firming the A350? Emirates for some additional A380? EasyJet??? A320neo (rumors are that they started talking)
IAG/BA firming the A350....
Anyone some more ideas?

I don't think Emirates will order anything in Le Bourget. If the have things in mind they will save it for Dubai airshow

I think Airbus may be trying to disprove that they are holding orders for major airshows but here's some more possible orders (for either A or B) that are expected to happen later this year (not necessarily Paris though) Turkish Airlines widebody, A350s, 787s, A380s ? Lufthansa Widebody A350s, 787s, 777Xs? Fly Dubai A320neo or 737Max although this will probably be done at the Dubai Airshow Virgin Australia A350 or 787 and maybe, Cathay Pacific will be ready to announce an order for VLA, preferably the A380

Also according to the Airbus press release and this bloomberg article, in addition to the above 18+18, IAG has secured commercial terms and delivery slots for an undisclosed number of units for Iberia pending an earnings turnaround. So, it's 18 + 18 + [Insert how many you think Iberia needs].

Nice to see the A330 continue to gain orders. How many more unfilled A320CEO slots would this order leave if firmed?
