[I just realized: also absent is msn 129. This is the one said to be for Air Austral. Is there any word on the cancelation of their order. Nothing official by Airbus, I know, but how about rumours?? There's been rumours last year that Air Austral will cancel the frames. This was after they didn't take up a 777-200LR that was already painted and ready for delivery from Boeing.

MSN 129 is not missing: (see oi46.tinypic.com/21aagir.jpg for a bigger format) Air Austral would take a final decision by the summer of 2013 so it's too soon to cancel this one. However, the interesting part is that MSN 129 is being listed as a 2015 built.

The remark means they formed a low cost carrier to operate the A380. It's a bit like Scoot for SIA or JetStar for Qantas. However, Outre Mer 380 was already formed in 2009, so well before Air Austral ran into financial difficulties. I guess we just have to wait untill 2015 to see what will happen to this particular order.

Read an interesting log from XFW today, Credit to "Flatty" on CASPG news group.
Various parts of the following airframes were noted on the 25th March 2013 at XFW.
137 (first for Qatar) 141 EK 142 EK 143 QR 2nd 144 EK 145 QR 3rd 147 EK 148 BA 4th 149 LH 150 EK 151 BA 5th 152 (First for Asiana)
So no mention of 104 or 117 for Air France 118 or 146 for Lufthansa where as 149 was noted.
