I was wondering what frame you were referring to, lol. The fully painted Saudia in the picture is a 777 but what caught my eye was that oddball tail on the closest 747. The lower rudder seems to be carrying a different livery compared to the upper one and it looks like Saudia colours. But if completed, it'd look different to the one already in service. What's going on?

That 747 is RC573, the third rejected bird by Atlas Air. RC571 and RC572 are sold to Saudia Cargo but RC573 will go into storage due the lack of a buyer. Atlas Air 747-8F by kpaekilo1, on Flickr

Ah, thanks. It was the light that caused the two rudder parts to look different then. Physics!

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has canceled the last five of its 747-8Fs on order. According to Wikipedia, those frames on order were acquired from Emirates Sky Cargo on a sale and leaseback deal. Does that mean DAE cancelled the deal with Emirates or did Emirates cancel the order from Boeing?
