Wonder now where 001 might go one day... It'll go to the Smithsonian, so the Americans can see what they have missed I think that Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace would have preferred 001 over 004, but as we say in Dutch: never look a given horse in the mouth. So they must and will be happy. On Twitter I saw a reaction of someone who is surprised France gets two A380's and Germany and the UK none. Maybe 001 will put things straight one day, but I hope she keeps flying for some years.

For the record: 004 did her last flight in 1 hour and 4 minutes, with a straight landing at Le Bourget. On arrival she got a wet reception:
