Cathay's 772s are some of the oldest 777s in the world including the first 777 built/to fly.

we did know a year back it MUST come We already knew production will be reduced to 7 per month in 2017 and 5.5 per month in 2018. The latest article suggest another cut is due, probably around 4 per month.

What we did last year - we counted the orders and took it against time until 777x will be ready .... and 7/5.5 is not sustainable - they did hope to sell much more but as we see it did not happen i.e. ......

We will see more of those going that way .... their economy is only slightly better than A343 and we see what is happening with those. It is actually their second going this way - B-2066 went this way already in July - still stored, but......
