They are few years late compared to LH and KL, AF and others, so they have to hurry. BA still gives you peanuts on EU flights - the other sell you even water so be happy and praise BA

The 777 fleet is so old, especially the entertainment system. The only slight advantage in economy was the space, now gone.

Thai has started scrapping their oldest 777s It's just about to cross the Mediterranean Sea, the weather here is very windy with rain expect for most of the afternoon ! interesting to see if it gets into EGBP or has to go somewhere else ! Edit - 12:50pm - it is just west of London now heading Towards Kemble, the rain has not appeared here but it is very windy / gusty

Well it was lineing up for a Kemble landing when I took this screen shot, it then dropped off FR24 coverage and did not reappear, so landed ?

Interesting article we overlooked from Leeham leehamnews.com/2016/12/13/boeing-cuts-777-production-rate/#more-21711The cuts are coming close to our own predictions... "another production rate cut for the 777 Classic, effective next August." "Because of the transition to the 777X, the actual delivery rate will be 3.5/mo" "Officials announced a rate cut to 7/mo. Analysts didn’t believe this was enough. Yesterday, Boeing agreed."
