BA is making some changes to its 787 configuration, due to poor customer feedback. Additional supplier lead time might push the delivery timeline to the right.

Does anyone know what the configuration problems are ? It must have been a last minute descission to store this frame as it had already done 4 test flight and was ready for delivery !

Customers criticised seat width in economy (not sure about seat pitch) and the vexing IFE box. BA is said to try to improve at least seat width. I don't think there is much they can do, though, since I don't think they would go for eight-abreast.

I hate those boxes myself. Great that BA finally listens to their customers. I wish other airlines would do the same.

Or if the next two will have to be stored as well. The next two are hot on its heals ! LN404 has flown twice and LN406 was due FF today !

G-ZBJA has just gone LHR to Cardiff, so guess maintenance, it was delivered to BA in June 2013, what type of check would it be after just under three years in service ? And how long should it take ?
