I wouldn't support Al Baker and his ridiculous system. Give me Emirates evry time. And is there a significant difference

You are right, but I would not scratch my head about such inconsistencies as they are frequent in CEO talking. They often don't get their numbers right. I would be concerned if Al Baker was right - it would mean that Airbus is really struggling to find demand for 30 A380s a year, and that they are already building 2015 frames. I don't think the situation is that bad.

This was already reported by CAPA a while ago, nice to have it reconfirmed now. Also to mention, it says MSN137 would be delivered in April,...... "or May".. On a side note, the 30 A380s for 2014 are already set, including the (only-)3 for QR... (13-EK, 1-AF, 2-LH, 2-KE, 5-BA, 3-QR, 2-OZ, 1-BC and 1-EY) Fabien

Qatar, Etihad and Emirates in the same little bay of the Indian Ocean, and all buying new aircraft. Can it really be commercial viable? Or is it government gas and oil money paying for it?

Dubai doesn't have that much of oil or gas not like Abu Dhabi (Etihad) which has a lot. While Qatar has a lot of gas

Thanks for the article limoncello! I think though it says all 3 (MSN137 MSN143 MSN145) delivered in June but not necessarily together at the same time?... I'm not sure if MSN145 will be ready by June then...... I expect it to roll out from OF at the end of May, time will be very short for a June delivery,... I guess this would be funny, MSN145 standing on the FL doing nothing at TL for so long, and now so much in a hurry for a June delivery,... I think maybe MSN145 would be delivered still in August, or maybe in July... we'll see,..... Let's see also then which one will be delivered first, Qatar Airways with MSN137 or Asiana Airlines with MSN152...... Fabien
