MSN 1863, A330-300 for Hong Kong Airlines ferried TLS-CHR on Wednesday. Given the fact that this frame was already painted, she'd likely headed to storage at CHR. ... Or the paint job might need a small retouch.

And you bet, it's also painted. www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/f-wwym#1dd0c7ceflic.kr/p/MbMRne

Based on the August update from Airbus production of A330-200s for airlines has just about completed.
There are 32 unfilled orders.
16 are for conversion to MRTT 8 are for Iran Air and will not be built due to US sanctions. 5 are for Jet Airways and show no sign of being built and presumably are awaiting cancellation after financial negotiation.
The 2 for IAG/Iberia and 1 undisclosed ( for China ? ) look like being the last three delivered.

Geoff The undisclosed and CASC orders, are all from China, although most of them are recorded as -300, they can be switched to -200 depending on demand. We've seen that before.
I could be wrong, but both MSN1862 and 1880 are -200, but not showing in order book at the moment.

This is an airline strongly supported by Boeing, and I would expect Airbus to try to force them to take some of its products.

It's interesting that Gulf Air is considering a refurbishment of its A330, even though it is set to receive a bunch of 787s.
