Letter from Airbus to its UK Employees I've just heard that Airbus have written to 15,000 people supplying Airbus in the UK outlining their concerns if the UK voted to leave the EU. Any thoughts?

I believe they wrote to their (Airbus / EADS ) employees only. Probably not the best forum to discuss the UK in/out vote on the European Union ?

I raised it on this site purely because the UK is (still!) an important part of Airbus. Could Airbus' view of the current EU structure and the contribution of the UK aerospace industry perhaps be altered If a NO VOTE was made? For this reason I think it is very relevant to an Airbus-lovers' site - it isn't a place I agree for talking about the YES/NO vote for the UK.

Looks a bit like Boeing's "Quick Change" seat-concept on pallets back then.
I think one day we might very well have separate airplane operators (leasing companies?) and airlines that just sell seat modules onboard in ever changing combinations of airlines and products inside the same cabin. Like Lufthansa modules in the front and Ryanair modules in the back of the same airplane.
A bit like freighters if you want or flying shopping malls.

So could this be a first step to a bigger sized wing for the A321neo making it possible to stretch it way beyound any possible MAX 10 then?

So could this be a first step to a bigger sized wing for the A321neo making it possible to stretch it way beyound any possible MAX 10 then? This is a composite wing box. Introducing composites on the A320 family wings would be a major decision. I don't think it is time for a major new development, but it might happen some day ...
