Thinking about the Caribbean, not sure how many of the island airports could handle the 'Whale'. In what way? Whalejet is better than a 744 in runway performance. And I'm thinking the immigration lines will be better than anything at LHR even though they would have smaller capacity airports. True, true but have you tried the immigration line in Tobago? I've stood on the tarmac next to the B747 waiting in line...nice when sunny but when it's raining... Was really querying the facilities that many of the islands have, think majority would need major upgrades to take the A380. Barbados would be ok....(sigh) wish I was there

I've stood on the tarmac next to the B747 waiting in line... See! I told you it's better than at LHR. You get to stand next to something really nice to look at! I, for one, would welcome the tropical rain showers. Still better than the rain showers in the UK!!!
