How many A380 movements does LHR see daily at present? We still have QR in addition to EY yet to enter the frenzy. LHR is a whalejet magnet.

Can ETD sustain a daily AUH-SYD + doubledaily AUH-LHR with just 3 frames?......

Little conflicting, says here ETIHAD Plans All-A380 Service to London Heathrow from May 2015So to summarize daily AUH-LHR 27/12/14 2nd daily LHR 01/03/15 3rd daily LHR 01/05/15 daily AUH-SYD 01/06/15 Same question here furthered, I don't think ETD can sustain a tripledaily AUH-LHR + daily AUH-SYD with just 3 frames ... (MSN166 MSN170 MSN176)... unless MSN180-EY4 is convoyed very very soon and still makes it on time for a May-2015 delivery.....which is now only 8 months away.........

I think airlineroute info is wrong the 3rd should be on June 1st 2015
The Sydney flight will actually considered LHR-AUH-SYD rotation so I believe the 3rd daily should be starting from June 1 not May 1

At the moment LHR are serving SQ EK QF MH BA. Later this year QR EY will be joining. In total 7 airlines. Timings of the A380s Departure from LHR? Hope this helps; EK008 LHR-DXB 08:10 EY012 LHR-AUH 09:15 BA283 LHR-LAX 10:25 MH003 LHR-KUL 10:50 SQ317 LHR-SIN 10:55 BA217 LHR-IAD 11:15 QF010 LHR-DXB 12:35 SQ305 LHR-SIN 13:05 EK002 LHR-DXB 13:35 EY020 LHR-AUH 14:05 QR004 LHR-DOH 14:15 BA269 LHR-LAX 15:25 EK030 LHR-DXB 16:15 BA055 LHR-JNB 18:00 BA025 LHR-HKG 18:35 BA011 LHR-SIN 19:10 EK004 LHR-DXB 20:15 EY018 LHR-AUH 20:20 QF002 LHR-DXB 21:15 EK006 LHR-DXB 22:00 MH001 LHR-KUL 22:00 SQ321 LHR-SIN 22:05 SQ 3 daily EK 5 daily QF 2 daily MH 2 daily BA 6 daily QR 1 daily EY 3 daily Sums up to 22 A380 Movements! Thanks lhr786. I'm surprised how KE and TG haven't got on board the LHR bandwagon yet.

With MSN180 now at TLS it'd have to be delivered by end of May (2015), only 8 months they'd have to hurry up

My guess is that the SYD route will start to be operated once both MSN180(EY4) and MSN191(EY5) are delivered (if daily), or once only MSN180 is delivered (if just a few times weekly) but still 1st June will be too early to have it delivered from now so I'll now expect to see the SYD route officially postponed
