I don´t think it was postet here, but this Thread is about Emirates A380s and not about new Routs for Emirates with an B777... But nice to see Emirates on the way to Chicago.

Of course, it was the wrong thread ! I wish my post and Shadow123's be moved to the Emirates 777s thread.

I just read a line on leehamnews that Emirates is sending the first operational 777-300ER to scrap. Does anyone have any more information on this or is this an error?

I think it is an error and they are meaning the B777 non-ER A6-EMD

I think it is an error and they are meaning the B777 non-ER A6-EMD correct 777-21H - MSN#30. But we will see if it is scrap or someone will take it and use it..... There are only 4 777-200 scraped until now - MSN#s 8,19,231,236. There are only 11 777 stored - all are 777-200, two are no additional leters, 2 are LR (both AirIndia), 7 are ER - out of those 5 are Singapore Airlines.

I believe Tim Clark said the airframe will be scrapped.
