According to Great Circle Mapper, the difference is just 2 km! A bit of a PR stunt, in my opinion...

“We’re also pleased to be the only commercial airline to offer a daily, First Class service to travellers on what will be the world’s longest non-stop flight.”
...as if there was another Airline offering the world's longest non-stop flight, too (just not daily or with no First Class available).

According to Great Circle Mapper, the difference is just 2 km! A bit of a PR stunt, in my opinion... Despite the small difference of only 2 km, PTY-DXB will take more than 1 hour longer than DFW-SYD. flightaware.com/live/flight/QFA8DFW-SYD is an 16-hour flight on average, PTY-DXB will be more than 17 hours.

17 hours 35 Minutes is expected to be the typical flight duration.

Any idea when the next 77W A6-EPA will arrive? Since April no 77W has joyned the EK fleet.

I was wondering also when it will be delivered. A6-EPB is currently doing test flight. Not sure if the problem is with EPA itself or it's scheduled to be delivered later.
