EI-LNB stranded in OSL last night due to a problem supporting the 787 with power. Norwegian will again charter a HiFly A340.

A lot of problems for EI-LNB, and a difficult introduction for Norwegian !
Is it just the 787 'teething problems', or could it be because this is their first experience of operating widebodies ?

The same fault is now causing a delay on today's OSL-BKK. The aircraft should have left five hours ago, but is still stuck at OSL while the technicians are trying to fix the aircraft

That is really bad. I am still not sure how airlines accepting the delivery with new frames if their older ones have all this problems. Shouldn't they request some guarantees from Boeing? Or they get future delivery in really discounted price.

I took the factory tour at Boeing on Sunday. Norwegians next 787 was second in line for roll out, behind the second plane for Jetstar. Engines were on both, and the Jetsar plane looked ready to roll out.
If you're ever in Seattle, I highly recommend this tour.

Norwegian clearly showing their frustrations. It looks like they've taken to advertising how unreliable the plane is by putting out all their problems to the press. I don't hear, say United, making this level of noise for such delays.
